And I am talking more than just their looks... The entire environment and path they set for you determine your attainable destination in life.
Shit parents…? Brainwashed parents, controlling parents, distraught parents, poor parents, unknowledgeable parents... Forget about living the good life in today's world. You will face so many challenges that are out of your control, which you yourself will have to deal with. There are too many uncontrollable variables that hinder nature's work of just "eat, sleep, live". Money, food quality, and access to community all depend on factors out of your control, not the way nature intended. Those three variables account for 99 percent of how your life is and forms to be.
How your parents act about these three variables determines you; it makes you or breaks you. You need to accept that every single bad thing that happens to you leads back to your parents' irresponsibility. They couldn't shield you from harm.
It's usually not the parents' fault... They too live a life not in their control, but rather controlled by the world around them as much as you do. People act like their parents are all-knowing gods, when in reality they are just a couple of decades older than you in this vast old world...they only know so much.
They are also products of their own parents, their environment, their culture, their fears, and their ignorance. We are all just a product of the experiences around us. These experiences are either genuine or manipulated...sadly, this society is built on manipulated ones orchestrated by those in control. False information everywhere. It was your parents who chose your path, not you. You have no control to this very day.
Your entire being—every experience since the dawn of your life up to today—is a product of your parents’ susceptibility to truth and lies.
