Parents vs Surgery

I’m currently 16 years and want an otoplasty but I have ethnic parents, how do I ask to get a consultancy to then possibly get surgery without them questioning if I’m a “princess” or some other bs they might say.

I especially want your response if you’ve done this before, if this fails I’ll just save up when I’m 18. I want this before college though so I don’t have to go through this high inhib nightmare again in college.

Yeah, most people with protruding ears get it fixed when they are 4–6
