I've had similar experiences in the past (albeit non-blackpill related) where I wanted to express my point of view to my parents with regards to some of the beliefs that I held at the time. I showed them a lot of evidence but they didn't buy into it no matter how hard I tried.

It's very hard to change someones' views if they've held the same views for decades upon decades.
