Parents won’t get me braces what do I do

I would assume it’s most likely a money issue. But I’m 15 and I’m pretty sure it’s an ideal time to get braces. My upper pallete isn’t wide only my bottom for some reason. I have pretty crooked teeth and the slightest gap in my front teeth. I’m just not sure what to do or genuinely how am I gonna look better if I don’t get braces.

I go to the dentist in a few weeks ig if I convince my parents along with the doctor I could def get braces. Not sure about expanders tho if they would let that slide
