my mandible is fucked like pretty recessed and it looks so ass like it doesn't just affect my side profile my entire projection just looks so bad. my parents refuse to let me go to the ortho because they think its "perfectly fine" since chat gpt said so and they never said anything abt it before. they think im insane or smt and i genuinely dont know what to do because im 16 so even if they let me see the ortho (which they wont), they probably cant do much no? idk why they think its so deep that I dont wanna be a recessed subhuman my whole life and would rather get this fixed when it can be without getting jaw surgery.

I’m kind of in the same spot rn bro, but if your parents don’t support that just try to better all of the other aspects of your appearance, and make money so right when you are 18 you can go get surgery.

I don’t think nothing will change you parents mind about this, so stop begging them and telling them about anything related to bettering your looks because I’m pretty sure they think you have a mental problem rn, so just make them think you are over that and better yourself in any way that you can until you can get surgery. I also feel helpless rn because my parents think the same but there is still hope so keep going bro.
