This is a common cope trope I see many redpiller/manosphere idiots repeat; the notion that nature is patriarchal by default and that this rationalizes the conservative/religions/whatever copes. "Look at the apes that's real patriarchy

First of all, sexual dynamics differ drastically between species; some are male centric and others are female dominated.

But the real cope lays in the fact that these idiots don't even understand what patriarchy is. Apes don't actually practice patriarchy. The alpha ape doesn't give af about 'muh common decency', he just fucks whenever he wants. A small number of alpha males fucking harmes of females is not patriarchy. Patriarchy is a list of rules telling men and women what they are or aren't allowed to do in the name of society and tradition, which does not exist in nature.
