I can easily say they were just psychos wanting to kill.

But they were psychos except they genuinely believed it was a necessary to prevent the world from being eaten by Hitzalapotchli. Both were dicks but one made it their business to raven to other Continents to exploit them and the other mostly just kept to raiding for sacrifices which wasn’t as frequent as you’d think btw in their own backyard
