Take any other species in the animal kingdom and more often than not you can't distinguish the gender of the animal by their height. This proves that height isn't a masculine trait and more of a general trait, males and females should have the same height ideally.

there's a about 20 lbs difference in weight on average between male and female and they in total only weigh a little over 100 lbs, so difference is quite significant
similar to humans
with gorillas there's also a big difference between male and female

probably got to do with hypergamy. the more hypergamous the species, the bigger the physical difference between the genders. Because in nature males rape the females, but that'd only work if the male is physically capable of raping the female, so only those males that are reproduce in the long run
