people apparently think I'm taller than I actually am

I was at my grandma's house with some other family members, and at some point they started discussing about my height.
For context I'm around 172-173 cm barefoot (which is a strong 5'7 or a weak 5'8, I usually claim 5'8). But my aunt was convinced that I am 176-177 cm (which is a strong 5'9), but then she even said that on top of being that height (which I'm clearly not btw) I have a very slim and slender build so I look even taller (5'10+), which is clearly bs too cause I'm a mesomorph with wide hips and a more stocky build overall. Idrk if she was trying to fool me or she's just unable to guess someone's height, cause if it's the seconde one she's wrong by a lot.

Someone asked me how tall i was, i told them:
179cms
He replied with : i thought you were like 185 or smth
Feels wrong to hear that or maybe i actually am ~185, haven't measured it in a while.

same as me. i went to asia and the moment my uncle saw me, he said i was tall. keep in mind im 5'10. he said it bcuz he is 5'6. tbf i also look pretty lanky although i wouldnt say i look much taller than my height
