Every conversation when you take the backseat and observe (rather than participate) is about food, how much they fucked someone over, how intelligent they are compared to others, how stupid others are compared to them, how much supposed pussy they get, how much money they have.

It's just constant. Ego fuelling nonstop over and over again just me me me all the time. I can't stand it anymore I want to become a recluse.

At this point in my life I am trying my very best to live a good life and escape these traps for the soul, it's hard not to overthink it when everyone else around you is sticking their tongue out and worshipping satan in their own way.

It's so fucking subtle a lot of the time too but when you become privvy to it you start picking up little things here and there that reveal what a truly horrifying person they really are.

I never knew 'normal' people were capable of acting this way until a few short years ago but it is getting more and more apparant as things get worse materially. Though I'm not surprised, when you get someone who is materialistic in a society that is struggling to uphold it's material supply, of course someone obsessed about it would become a nasty horrible evil person when they see they are struggling.

I've been thinking about this myself since I woke up.

My conclusion is that, although they may brag about a large hunt that they managed to do, they almost deserved to have those bragging rights because of how difficult and life threatening it was.

That same mentality has spilled over towards shit that doesn't even matter and so it looks so egotistical. The same mechanism a neanderthal would use to brag about taking down a sabre tooth tiger in one hit, is the same mechanism modern humans use to talk about getting a girls phone number. Just think about that for a second.
