Social media was not that big ,kids were not on their phones non stop and everything was not as developed as today. Being a teen nowadays seem way to diffucult every 13 years old kid have to be entrepreneur they are not allowed to have a weird phase.

Nah it was boomers in the 60s.

I'm a 90s baby. Social media still existed (bebo, MSN, MySpace and Facebook) but it was not as big as today and confined to your IRL contacts. Internet itself was not that developed. Not with a shitty dial up connection. You still had to rely on TVs and phones were mostly used as phones although not to the extent today where it's made even laptops useless.

I remember being 9 years old and I went into a chat room and changed my font to some invisible font and thought no one could see it so I typed “fuck you all” in a chat room. Since my mom was the account holder for me, I got banned from the chat and she was notified. She asked me why I said that and I replied “it was just a joke”
