If you starve yourself to death to gain hollow cheek you will look unattractive. It only works if your body fat is 15% or higher. You need bones for that.

probably you lost some mass on your neck and face, which made you look smaller and weaker

loosing fat everywhere else in the face is hard to avoid, but you can atleast maintain neck muscles
