but then these same people started meatriding marlon as soon as he got popular and immediately switched up their opinion just because it got more mainstream.

I understand the urge to try and blackpill normies. The hypocrisy people can display in these matters can be genuinely infuriating. It sucks and it's confusing but your efforts to wake people up will be mostly wasted. One of the hardest pills to swallow is that most people are ignorant not because they don't know the truth but because they don't want the truth.

In your mind you are simply acknowledging facts and having a discussion, in their mind you are attacking the fundamental building blocks of their reality. Most people aren't as open minded as you are and it's better you realize that now instead of repeatedly banging your head against the wall and potentially suffering negative social consequences.

When normies criticize your interest in this topic they do it because they feel it as an attack. You are openly acknowledging a deep insecurity of most people and most people are too mentally weak and dishonorable to accept the facts when presented. 9 times out of 10 they will resort to trying to shut you down rather than engage in impartial discussion. They aren't shutting you down because you are wrong, they are shutting you down because you are making them uncomfortable. They are shutting you down because they don't care about truth or rather truth is of secondary importance to their immediate feelings about the topic.

Trust I was just as confused as you were because I, like you, don't operate this way. You are likely Nuerodivergent to even care about this topic as much as you do. This doesn't mean you are not functional but your brain probably doesn't work the way the average person's does, hence the confusion with how they respond to you. This will be a persistent theme in your life until the day you die. The only solution is to find people who are more like you the same way normies spend time with people who are like them. The hard part is obviously this is much easier for a normie than it is for you because they have the numbers advantage. Still all hope is not lost.
