water thread but i remember in hs these like cool future criminal kids, everyone would dick ride them and shit and teachers would like shill for them and favor them. people contextualize malicious behavior so differently when they're inclined to like the person doing it. omg chad is so mysterious and troubled, why does he do that? i want to help him! shit like that. and some ugly methhead looking dude would get in one fight and he'd be shuffled off to a criminal school full of gang bangers or expelled, whatever.

when i meet someone who's "troubled" who's like prone to lashing out and being aggressive, does whatever would get an inkwell mobbed and bullied, but seems to live in this halo affect bubble i can't help but despising them. if they were ugly or ethnic they'd get checked by life so fucking hard and other people would despise them like i do.

i remember this jock dude on my street was "troubled". i was friends with him before he ditched me for being a loser and my family knew him from when we were kids, and he turned into one of the bigger bullies in the school, something i learned directly, and my own mother would always bring him up in such a sentimental fashion despite how much i'd shit talk him for becoming a scumbag.
