Listen to me carefully. I know you neither have or want curly hair BUT straight hair DOESN'T mean flat and lifeless hair. Throw the gel away, it's an outdated look. Purchase a clay or paste, something that would hold your hair but still make it look natural, fluffy and healthy. Also start blowdrying asap. You have absolutely no idea how important that is.
