I'm in LA for vacation and I realized people here are really short. This thread isn't about race either because I feel like people of every race here were relatively short, whether white, black, or latino. I go out the entire day and I can count the people taller than me with one hand and I'm only 184 cm.

i do notice the same however the height in a rich white area feels a few cm taller, maybe like 178cm. But in LA the avg height is probably like 174-175cm

I am in Southern California as we speak and I think you may have a point, I just never thought about it. Like I keep reading complaints on this site about everyone being so tall, but in LA, I never really noticed it. People really aren't that tall. Not alot of Northern European stock in Los Angeles bringing up the height averages.
