Im an above average looking very tall guy, and I'm nowhere near like Cl or something, but the people around me where I live, the guys are all sub5 or 5s there's like max 15 good looking guys in my school, so theres not a lot of competition, but one of the biggest halo effects ive seen since ive become better looking is that people just trust what you say. guys trust what I say and girls trust what I say even if its false, like they just assume i have the right answer to a question its so weird, like before I used to have to prove everything but now I can just lie about shit and people believe me its such a weird feeling, and like when i tell a girl something that i made up as a joke and then say no im just kidding their always shocked and like say shit like " damn i just assumed u were right" about like blatantly false shit, its such a weird feeling, and like girls believing me makes sense cus they have an emotional incentive i guess, but like guys believe me too, and its just strange to be able to do this like this would be impossible two years ago. Yes. In school I used to think it's because I was one of the smart kids, but then that just continued in college where nobody knew me and I wasn't even that good. Might also have something to do with how you present. If you, like me, have always been the smart kid or whatever, you'll instinctually talk in a more authoritative way, as if you're some of expert. Whether or not people buy it depends mostly on your looks probably. I have a story like that myself, where pretty much every non-smoker finding out that I smoke is surprised by it, actually saying shit like "you don't look like a smoker" or translated: "you don't look like an idiot who puts that shit into him".
