People just fraud height or they have been measured wrong?

Many if not most guys that i know claim to be taller,guy claims to be 181cm(5 ft 11.25)when he is more like 178cm(5 feet 10).
5 feet 4 guy claims to be 5 feet 6,i think many have been measured in shoes.

the entire height spectrum has been inflated by 2 inches. 5'10 (barefoot) claims 6' ... 6' claims 6'2 and so on...
thats why women think 5'8 is short because the 5'6 guys are frauding... in reality a legit 5'8 guy should not have many problems with his height
