people looking tall despite being manlets

I still haven't completely figured out what it is that some manlets have

these are all 5'8-5'9

even after tweaking clothing fit and shoes I don't seem to get it right 100%

must have something to do with body proportions tbh

small skull + long legs, short torso and long limbs gives the "tall" appearance

if you have the opposite you can be 6'2 and still look average

These guys are rich and can afford expensive tailors that know how to highlight their proportions and make them look taller. Manlets know how to fraud their height better than anyone else.

Yes, I recognized that too. For example, I thought of a work colleague that he is a bit shorter than me and the other one is bit taller. When they both stood next to each other, they were exactly the same height, probably just like me.
I often thought to people "he will definitely tower me" and in the end he was eye to eye level with me. With other people i thought "you will tow that guy" and then he was eye to eye level with me aswell . It will be a mixture of proportions, body fat, muscle mass, posture and clothing (including color).

Just like there are some women who are 5'6 and look 5'10. Most women if not all women have longer legs and short torso, which makes the figure look slim and elongated. Guys usually look more compact and robust.

you still remain a manlet no matter your torso/limb ratio

None of those guys are short they're all in the average height range. Also, theyre all in good shape, so their frame or height to width ratio is closer to a tall person, whereas most people nowadays are fat so it looks different. Any guy who is like 5’9, in good shape with a decent frame, isnt going to look short unless hes got really unusual proportions or he is in a room in a dutch college
