They only gassed those that weren't able to work or feed firstly I think, the rest were probably going to get gassed but probably later on. Originally, Hitler wanted to resettle them elsewhere but no country would take them, combine that with food shortages due to the war effort, he eventually came to "that" conclusion for the Jews. In regards to if numbers of deaths were accurate or not, I'm not sure.

Show me any document that says "the Holocaust happened in between 1941-1945 but we added the deaths prior and call them Holocaust victims too because why not" it's nonsensical. They would've said the Holocaust happened in 1933-1945 then, no doubt. But they say ~11 million people were systematically killed in a span of less than 4 years. Not buying that. It's not a plausible number, specially since the amount of corpses found after the war is minimal in comparison to the numerical death claims, and most of them were victims to typhus and other diseases or starvation because of supply lack. That's why they say they must've been cremated, and that's when the numbers truly don't add up, since the amount of corpses they claim could've potentially been cremated is much higher than the time they had from start to end of the Holocaust. Even if they cremated all the corpses they could using those old ovens, the amount wouldn't surpass 500k

That's the point. If you search for Holocaust bodies found, theres just few cases in which mass graves were found with mere couple thousand victims at most buried there. So then articles like this are made:

But it's such an exhausting and visible work, it's weird there's no solid proof besides speculation and documents that show the diminishing jewish population through the years (which could be due to many factors during a war, not just deliberate genocide).

The Sonderkommando which carried on the cremation was composed of other jewish prisoners, which testified of course. You can search and see some photographical evidence, but there's not much, and the process looks very slow and inefficient.

The amount is sus, I dont doubt they killed many of them since the Second World War was one of the deadliest if not the deadliest conflict to ever happen. But the archaic methods in which all the evidence was erased by the Nazis to leave no trace make no sense, and the only picture of said method shows nothing. Just a small pile of corpses which could be from whatever, from starvation to typhus to a mass killing, getting burnt with some car fuel on an open field.
