flat maxilla isnt a medical term, anything that’s not projected forward is technically recessed, but flat is like a bit more natural and definitely should not be treated the same as severe recessions
You are retruded if incisors are behind the nasion in frankfurtplane. then you can have none projected nasal spine, hollow canine fossa, bad infra orbital rim or bad radix projection.
