The concept of "touch grass" is horseshit, when you consider most peoples problems directly stem from social interactions. The average person has no lack of social interactions, they are constantly talking to people all the time and their mental health is held together by shoestring and bubblegum. I saw this crazy stat.
The average person is breaking down about 3 times a month in tears... wtf. the last time I cried was... when I was 17? about 15 years ago. I am quantifiably far happier than the average person while simultaneously being the biggest loner I know. Whenever I involve other people, it feels like my bubble of relaxation is getting infiltrated by other peoples bullshit.
I am highly sceptical of this idea that the remedy for being upset is to socialize... if anything I think people should socialize less.
