People that grow up super rich often don't realize there is a socioeconomic spectrum to society

They will be able to identify other super rich people by the $700 shoes or $400 brand shirts that they wear. But they are often unable to distinguish a person that has modest wealth from someone that is middle class from someone that is living pay check to pay check. Yea they can spot homeless people, but they really only see maybe 3 levels to society, the super rich, the homeless, everyone else is "middle class" to them.

It is similar to how super tall people view the world. There are the super tall, midgets, everyone else.
