I feel like people spend too much time trying to participate in activities that are stereotypical of what a teenager or young adult would do. Going to parties, drinking, spamming people on Snapchat for 4 hours a day to get millions snap score. These are the type of people that are never interesting to talk to because they have genuine NPC dialogue updated with all new slang and don’t care to talk to you unless they get something out of it directly. There are no real interests they just live their life for popularity and status. I don’t think I have ever formed a real friendship with a person like this. If more people acted normal without trend following during teen years then it would probably be easier to make true friendships in your life.
