Most people in general are average overall,face,height etc.10-15% of the world's population is over 6 ft and in
america it's about 14%.So It's gonna be very rare to come across someone who is over 6 feet.Most of the anecdotes

Average height for white American males is 5’10.
25th percentile for height is 5’8.
75th is 6’0.
So one in 4 men are 6’0 or taller, certainly not rare at all.

Maybe I'm biased because I live in Argentina, but the times I've been to the US, most men looked around the 5'9" range not much more than that. It was full of manlets. Women weren't that tall either, the tallest ones being around 5'11" WITH HEELS. So a legit, unfrauded, barefoot, mid-day, hairless 5'10" guy could pass as well above average.

Difference between 5'9" and 6'0" is what? 7.5 cm? That's nothing, grab a ruler and check what 7.5 cm looks like. With the right shoes, proportions, hairstyle and posture you can look 6'0" at 5'9".

You're not 5'11" then, and it's true 5'11" is "not that tall" but it's still not short or average. It's just "not that tall" like saying that 5'7" is "not that short", doesn't mean 5'7" isn't short it means it's just not THAT MUCH short. 5'11" is not THAT MUCH tall. But it's KINDA tall.

Indeed, most women are in that range, and when I fraud to like 6’1.5 here I feel tall, when I see guys from a distance they are taller than most people there and they look tall, but when I get close to them and stand next to them we are almost the same height, +- ~ a few cm
