People who don't worry about their looks

I've encountered many people throughout my life telling me that they don't care about the way they look (they were generally supbar looking) and I'm still wondering whether those guys are just coping or really mean what they were saying and really don't give a damn.

I'm just thinking how possible could it be for anyone on earth not to care (at least a bit) on looks when we clearly know that this aspect alone determines so many things in someone's life ?

The point where I realized I will never be above a 4/10 in looks no matter what I do was the point where I stopped caring about looksmaxing. These days, I just do basic hygiene and grooming but not much else. I hang comfortably at 3/10 and honestly don't notice much difference in how people treat me. Perhaps needless to say, I've dropped out of the dating market (or rather, the army of surplus males crowding its periphery).

Fuck I wish I was like that, the blackpill made me way more afraid of what women think of me and I can’t recover. I know they hate me and now I sense mistreatment every time I interact with them, it’s torture.

I wish I could stop caring about wanting validation and intimacy out of my looks but the drive is just natural I can't help but be a slave to it
