CommunismWe grew up in communist Romania...We had no such thing as McDonald's, fast food, hamburgers, Coca-Cola, etc. When it opened here, the prices were ridiculously high, but people still would wait in huge lines and spend a week's wage just get a taste of America. For many years, McDonald's was considered luxury food, haute cuisine, very few could afford to go there, you would read all the time in newspapers how some celebrity or rich guy would throw a birthday party or something at McDonald's and invite his friends - it was something out of reach for the ordinary people...
Yes pls I had one earlier tbh was so good I got it for free btw I had mcdonal points and redeemed free cheseburger@Vermilioncore want cheeseburger?
It's like with medicines, the cost to produce is very cheap and the price is whatever people are willing to pay for it.We grew up in communist Romania...We had no such thing as McDonald's, fast food, hamburgers, Coca-Cola, etc. When it opened here, the prices were ridiculously high, but people still would wait in huge lines and spend a week's wage just get a taste of America. Meanwhile in America people who have to make fast food places apart of their regular diet are usually seen lower class/ welfare poverty trashWe grew up in communist Romania...We had no such thing as McDonald's, fast food, hamburgers, Coca-Cola, etc. When it opened here, the prices were ridiculously high, but people still would wait in huge lines and spend a week's wage just get a taste of America.
