The old follicles would presumably be too damaged to regrow since they were already weakened through DHT but potentially eliminated through the invasiveness of a HT procedure. This is why one of the exclusion criteria for the trials is not having had a HT.

well the thing from bayer is very promising because it actually grows hair on monkeys who just go bald as humans and it seems to work on humans too even though the reddit guy could be a troll of course. we will see how everything looks when they finish the trial.
