You always see both men and women(general public/Normies ) talk bad about short men and praise talk guys.
But face topic is always turns into gaslighting without candidness height gets.

In my opinion there are 2 main reasons for this.

1-While there are so many guys that are 6 feet+ (probably close to 20%) or even 6 feet 2”+. There aren’t that many men normies can genuinely call good looking comfortably.Because handsome is a hard adjective to obtain for men’s face.You have to be like top %3 percent and maybe have a striking feature or two.

2-Society just seems it’s an okay form of negativity since it’s mainly attributed to men.Because height doesn’t affect women unless it’s extreme outlier.Since ugliness affects women as well it’s viewed differently.

That's why height is so desired, it's less rare than a good face and more attainable.

Those reasons are part of it. I would also add:

1) Height is objective while face is much harder to objectively judge. If you call someone a 5'8 manlet its just the objective truth, they literally cannot dispute it. However if you call someone ugly and they disagree, a legitimate debate/fight can be started since its hard for you to objectively state the facial features and reasons why theyre ugly, and even if you do this, they can easily resort to copes like saying you underestimated their harmony.

2) Face is just more personal than height. When you think of someone you think of their face, your face is your identity.
