First off, this is not broscience.
Proof:
According to this study, it works better than minoxidil!!!

I have been using a peppermint oil/castor oil mix on my eyebrows
And a peppermint oil/conditioner mix for my beard area, hairline and scalp
My hair looks thicker, my eyebrows are much thicker and my beard is starting to fill in

great the same old rat study and as always the minoxidil is a weaker version than the standard 5% :)

i got good results with eyebrows.

i got decent reults, with growing beard hair quicker.

I got bad/no results; with getting beard hair growth at places non does. Same with scalp erea

Interesting

Rats share a overwhelming majority of genetic material with us humans
we also have lots of anecdotes saying PPRMINT oil is legit

Don't look at it so superficially, their hair growth/hair loss mechanism is different to us humans and so they are not good models. There are hundreds of compounds that have worked on rats that didn't do shit for humans. They could smear semen on those rats and get hair growth jfl. Besides it's misleading when it is said it "outperformed" minoxidil and only the 3% was used

The anecdotes of peppermint oil working for hair growth on the scalp and beard are incredibly underwhelming. I do still believe they work for some eyebrow growth and perhaps increasing a bit of density (a lot of things do tho), but minoxidil is a far more potent growth stimulant, and you would have had better results had you used minoxidil.

how did you use it? like did you buy a concentrated peppermint oil extract and mixed it with some oil like coconut then applied?

yeah. I bought 100% concentrated peppermint oil. And I diluted it down to 10%; with a simple beard oil.
Castor oil would had been a good one, I think.

Do u apply the PMO overnight and wash off in the morning or what?

i apply during the day
So approximately how many hours does it stay in ur hairs before washing off then? Also doesn't ur brows, hair and beard look greasy during the day?

doesn't it have sides? I heard some bad things so didn't use it but curious tbh
