The only reason peptides aren't viewed as much of a cope as things like skincare is that people are scared of injecting them. Almost all the people that talk about peptides have never taken them and never will yet they talk about them increasing the hype around them. If a large amount of people started using peptides everybody would soon realize they don't have the magical effects that people advocate for and they would be seen as extreme copes.
All the studies that people show to prove that these things work exist for every skincare ingredient as well. Yet people on here fall for the logical fallacy of believing that if something is more dangerous/harder to consume then it must work better and not be a scam. I guarantee you that if peptides were easier to consume and more accessible they would be clowned on by everybody on this forum.
This is a recurring pattern with all the methods that are considered most effective on this forum. The logical fallacy of believing that more negative side effects = better positive results is very common and is also the reason why a lot of natural methods that actually work are considered by most people as copes, because they have nothing dangerous attached to them.
