Peptides for eyelashes/brows (pentapeptide-17)

I have read on amazon reviews that serums including peptides are working. One of the peptides is called pentapeptide-17.
I can't find much info on these regarding side effects.
So are peptides for eyelash/brow growth legit and what's the catch?

Do they have same side as minox?

I'd stay the fuck away from Latisse. A lot of people report fat loss on the eyelids, potentially leading to upper eyelid exposure.
