idk if it's just me but honestly the years of seeing 1 in a billion faces on this forum and social media have completely cooked my perception of reality to the point where my brain literally cannot process the middle ground anymore. The entire spectrum of human attractiveness has been compressed into two categories, you're either an actual mogger who would never be called ugly, or you're straight up subhuman and there's absolutely nothing in between. I’ll be walking down the street and see a dude who is objectively a solid MTN with good features and decent height and my fuckass mind will categorize him as unattractive because of some bs ratios being clearly off or lacking in misc or angularity. The actual 7/10 girls I used to think were stacies back in 2019 now just look plain faced because they don't have enough dimorphism or have slightly crooked teeth. It’s brutal because you lose all appreciation for nuance, if a face has a single failo even a minor one you hyperfocus on it and write the whole person off as mid, completely forgetting that 95% of the human race exists somewhere in that vast gray area where normal people live and this is honestly a miserable way to perceive the world because you're constantly comparing everyone to an ideal that 0.01% of the population actually has. Also on top of that this whole thing reflects on yourself so even tho you might look good and get constant iois and interest from girls you still won't be satisfied with yourself.
