We can see that different people make different use of religion. So I will say that individuals as single entities must have accountability on their views and not everything can be disguised or hidden behind the label of religion says so.
I have seen this behaviour. It's manipulation, gaslighting, cinism, hypocrisy, projection... a thief might say oh I'm poor that's why I'm stealing... but guess what you have richer people stealing too. Here on looksmax you have people rotting away 24/7 claiming it's world lookism that kicked their ass back into their room... I have my uncle who's got a drug addiction and says it's why he insults, mistreats and steals money from the family when he gets upset when things don't go his way.
Do you know where I wanna get? People may try to fullfish their own personal wishes and desires and will claim it's in the name of God, or any other external factor, in order to avoid responsibility and accountability for their own actions. I've been there too. Do not fall for it. They are responsible. They always are to some degree... and we cannot blind our eyes to that reality. The only incentive people need to commit evil is their own desire to follow that path, nothing else is needed, even though there might be more things.
