I'm very much into the punk scene where I live, and with that there are a lot of htb mtb going to punk shows. outside of the punk scene, I'm a HTN but in it I'm chadlite because all of those guys are ugly asf so I slay. So maybe finding a scene where you guys go a whole tier up will help you slay! (only works if your mtn or htn)

Equivalent of people you to find a hobby or join a club. Won't work if you get beat to the competition in that space.
