There is some inclination to feel optimism for a third party for improvement because you are purely solution oriented and you're completely detached from ego because we'll they're not you.
But there is a lot of internal emotional melodrama involved when your inherent "value" is questioned when you critique yourself; which is an important constructive step if you want to be better.
"Building yourself from the ground up" is an interesting approach assuming you are a worthless/valueless entity in your original state and you're a project you work on and there's no room for stalling because, well, this is the only thing you're meant to do. I saw another post here like this, taking life from a vidya perspective where there is no room for ego. If your character was a 5'3" framecel 2 PSL manlet curry but your options are clear in front of you, it'd still be an interesting road (from an impersonal perspective). Utilise your options diligently and BUILD yourself up in every aspect (because inherently, you're worthless). Your achievements is all you are. You're probably not as unfortunate, so just think of your potential and what's possible. Sounds kind of exhilarating.
