I will rank every pharma softmax I've tried at home so far.

S
Topical Minoxidil
Pros: Permanent results for beard/moustache, semi-permanent? for eyebrows
Cons: Requires consistency and a time commitment. Expect 10mins twice a day and 7-8 months minimum for permanent growth

Aqualyx
Pros: Permanent localized fat reduction at a significantly cheaper cost than clinics. Not hard to do once you're familiarized with the process.
Cons: Requires much more effort to learn and low inhib. Takes many more sessions than surgery to achieve results.

A
Stimulants/Weight Loss Drugs
Pros: Extremely effective at lowering body fat %
Cons: Don't get addicted and not a permanent solution. Maintaining the same diet after stopping use is very difficult but not as hard as going on a deficit without drugs.

B
Oral Minoxidil
Pros: Insane results for eyelashes
Cons: Not a permanent solution, all gains fall out after 3 months of stopping use

Botox
Pros: Very effective at reducing wrinkles and creating selective facial muscular atrophy. Even easier to do than Aqualyx.
Cons: Only lasts a few months. The permanent solution is to fix habits e.g. facial tension, repeated movements, bruxism

D
Skincare/Retinol
Pros: Small but very temporary skin brightening/hydration
Cons: Not worth the effort/price. Wearing sunscreen to avoid UV damage is much more effective and permanent than any skincare routine, to prevent early aging (wrinkles/laxity etc.)

F
Dermarolling/stamp
Pros: Might help stimulate collagen?
Cons: Takes way too much effort for effectively no real result

Aqualyx in S tier :lul:

You have to keep doing it your whole life to keep results and you look like a pufferfish for 2 weeks

You are spreading misinformation when you have clearly never tried it. You will not look like a pufferfish for 2 weeks, by day 5 the swelling is unnoticable. Sodium deoxycholate permanently kills fat cells, those cells will not grow again or return in adults.

@mods can you please move my thread to the Looksmaxing section. I posted it in the wrong section on accident

if you stayed the same body fat % then sure theyd be permanetly gone but if you just got fat again youd probably just gain it all back

hyperplasia is not hypertrophy. ofc if you gained a bunch of fat the surrounding fat cells might still enlarge but it doesnt change the fact that the total number of fat cells in the treated area is still lower. aqualyx is not meant to reduce your overall body fat %, it is meant for spot reduction in areas that are resistant to weight loss e.g. for people who are already at low body fat but still hold a lot of fat in their face/neck

true but the fat cells surrounding the area of destroyed fat cells if weight is gained can just expand and take up the place where the fat has been destroyed so youd ofc have less total fat cells but the lower amount would take up a bigger volume
