Mouth breathing braces poor hormones can effect your face. Seen niggas with bradpitt tier parents end up average looking or worse due to braces and mouth breathing. Also face is very complex with a lot of moving parts. Genetic recombintion is brutal you could get a bad combination and still look uglier then your parents.

Phenotype (race) and height are much more genetic. You can basically give your kid a 100% shot of being tall with the right diet and a tall mother. Phenotype as well a subpar white dude is still white regardless.

Tldr:

Height/Phenotype are the two biggest traits parents can 100% select for their children lookswise. Even a guy like Chico had mid parents who were tall he just got the luck 1 in 10,000 gene combination getting the best genes from either parents and no defects. For every good looking person born like this there is an ugly person as well.

Another big factor is diet mewing and hormones a lot of which is environmental. If Chico grew up in a trailer park and ate like shit he would not be an incel but he would never be a model either he would have developed a lot worse. Looks (do not) = good genes inherently that is only one major aspect. Looks = good health and youth which are expressed when you develop normally. Looks are first and foremost indictators of health and proper development genes are not these blueprint models they adapt to the enviroment. Kinda like a plant growing in a bowl it adapts to this and its roots never fully form right.
