Is it a fact that those native to the British Isles (the English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Cornish, and Manx, among others) have the greatest amount of phenotypical diversity? By that I mean their physical features, such as hair color and texture, eye color, and skin tone. It amazes me that people from this (fairly) small region can have every natural hair color (red, blonde, brown, and black), 3 of the 4 natural hair textures (straight, wavy, and curly), every eye color (blue, gray, green, hazel, and brown), and have skin tones ranging from extremely pale to quite tan (think Sean Connery). I this remarkable, and a testament to the greatness of the Anglo-Celtic peoples.
