1. To repopulate a society. People would have to make babies and raise them. 2 kids per couple min. 1.7 is the current USA number. expect it to decrease in our generation. the most important part of it is the woman, and the kids. So maybe In the future we probably wont have enough trust (70% divorces predicted), and kids will have to be raised through taxes.

2. Combine this decreasing birth rate with mass immigration, the population can actually increase. But if your importing them into an individualistic culture, wouldn't you just convert them? Think Ethnics in Europe, NA, CA. (basically importing consumers)

Obviously we are not going back, just like we can't go back to pre-technology. So relationships are pretty much over. How will you cope? Do you care about a family? What drives you?
