Philtrum, flat vs convex, what does it do?

What does it mean if I have flat thick philtrum like Gandy? Someone once told me that its shit maxilla indicator but I dont think it's true because I have above average forward growth and a lot of good looking people have flat philtrum. So what does it do?

I also think it's better that's why I am insecure about my flat one but what does it indicate if you have flat or convex? Is it tied to maxilla or it's just genetic soft tissue thing that comes from genes alone, not bones?

No idea. Probably genetic. Probably more people with flat maxillas have flat philtrums.

Concave or neutral mouth is more attractive. Convex mouth is a sign of bimaxillary protrusion. Also, lack of maxillary protrusion doesn't automatically equal recessed maxilla. Its possible to have a concave mouth and a good maxilla.

Jordan Barrett has a very forward grown maxilla /good maxillary development with slight Bimaxillary protrusion, while Gandy has a very average one.
