Philtrum growing with age?

How does the philtrum expand that much with age? That lady is a rough 50s I think in the big philtrum photo and I think around 18 in the smaller philtrum photo. Couldn't find one where she was in her 30s or so. I thought at first age must lengthen the philtrum but I looked at quite a few old actors even up to their 80s and many still had about the same size philtrum as their younger days. What can cause that. Can mouthbreathing itself actually change a philtrum that much after puberty in adulthood?

Also usually a nose turns downward some with age and hers did the opposite and turned up some. How does that happen. Any ideas?

It's crazy with her though as you do see the skin droop like that but I would think her maxilla in that philtrum area had to lengthen a lot.
