I have a question, why does nose in normal photos and stuff not look that long, but close up in a mirror seem mad long

Lense distortion makes your philtrum longer so your nose may look shorter in camera

Because you can’t see the full face and since the nose is in the middle of your face, it looks larger and hence longer. If you are convinced, notice how green screens from close up are very fake looking but when from afar and zoomed in, they look better since they show the full body and head of actors. Or just walk backwards whilst looking at mirror. Measure facial thirds, midface ratio, and then philtrum to chin ratio and tell me if anything is out of the ideal.
