If you get a new screen online and put it on yourself it can be really cheap. I am low iq but ive done it a few times, they make it really easy, most screens even come with the tools to take off the old screen and put the new one on, and there are a million videos and repair guides online that will show you exactly how to do it for pretty much all phones

also always put additional glass on a new phone + use a case
i do so, otherwise i'd have to change phones every 3 months (had done this in the past lol)
