I consider myself kind of a failure, and art is all I have left. I’m considering not going to community college and saving up to go to a art school? If you guys were in my situation, what would you do?

Let me actually give you advice today, don't go to art school, you're not going to make any money. Go for a STEM degree. If you don't want that then go for a finance degree. Go to community college.

Pick Med School.

Why? And what exactly are you doing?
Your workflow is controlled by others. Workplaces have tools to help you that the other boomers are too stubborn to learn. They give me papers instead of digital documents, making a 5 minute job into a 45 minute job. Probably dependent on workplace though. I did like 3 days of accounting

And if you live in the Us be prepared to work overtime without being paid or thanked for it.

Ahhh, accounting, I'm guessing you were doing something basic? Like bookkeeping? Since it was only for 3 days.

I could make a comic for a popular newspaper and eventually get it syndicated.
Odds of that are highly unlikely. Thats like me putting my entire house on a chicken fight

I honestly feel if I go to an art school after community college, I’ll find someone there, as opposed to university, but who knows.

@Tony are u a mod on this site?
@Sizzurp what do you think I should do?

So you guys think I should suck up my depression for being kind of a failure and go to community college then transfer to a university, regardless of what I major in?

Starting this up again.

I’d think conservative art (classical music, theatre, literature etc...) is much more prosperous than the liberal arts (painting, sculpting, pop music/songwiting...) if you really want to consider doing art.

Acting classes are pretty much a 100% useless degree and only worth it if:
-you’re living in either New York or Los Angeles
-have a huge social network
-body/voice of a god
Acting school is truely a hobby school, and serious actors do theatre before hitting the silver screens (think Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis,...)
It’s also becoming waaaaaay harder to even make a decent living nowadays. Looks are much more preferred than actual acting skills (think Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Zac Efron, Channing Tatum,...)

ALSO:

STEM is becoming more and more competitive, so you really need to be either really motivated or extremely intelligent to make $$$

Hope it helps.
