First image shows a forward view next to imaging done on my skull; as you can see there is asymmetry in the mandible (one side appears more angular and developed, the other seems rounded and stupid). Side-profile makes this definition clear as well. The chin also seems to be asymmetrical also.

I'm curious about what surgeries/procedures/treatments could fix this assymetry. Maybe also just general face widening/defining. Any thoughts? misc. tips or kys messages also welcomed. Thank you!

A mandibular ramus distraction osteogenesis is common to fix this type of assymetry

I remember seeing a maxillofacial surgeon who told me that a difference in muscular use causes the bone to "follow". He wouldn't operate on me because I wasn't dying of sleep apnea or whatever. That was a few years ago.

Anyways yeah I think it's both, definitely have more bone growth right side though. Does this change the idea for fixes?

maybe a little but first try chewing more on the side that is less developed than make sure your head is not tilted to one direction but straight and if your massender is semetrical chew on both sides other than that im sorry but idk mewing for bones i guess if its not cope.

Appreciate the advice. I think I do chew more on the right side (developed), so I'm trying to chew exclusively on my left side for a while, see if that corrects things at least a little.
