The thing is that my looksmaxxing period was in a time I was heavily "coping" with masculine stuff, in particular, the THUMOS movement. I did weightlifting, started doing martial arts, eating right, nofap, etc., and I involuntarily ascended. I literally forgot about women in this period because of how much of a failure the redpill had been to me in the past. I did know about the blackpill but dismissed it for the most part because of the nihilism/incelism atmosphere it is surrounded by but when I did finally investigate it I was already 90% looksmaxxed so the knowledge served me well instead of inducing me to rope. BLACKPILL IS ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, you need a philosophy of life to use that knowledge in the optimal way. That's why I advocate for the whitepill, which is essentially blackpill + positive copes (THUMOS stuff, for example). Also one could use redpill manipulation strategies given the blackpill knowledge was previously acquired, so you don't blindly aim outside your range
