Poem #1 - The Looksmaxing Despair

In the mirror I see a face so plain
With features that cause only disdain
No matter how hard I try to be happy
My looks make me feel so crappy

I know the truth, I'm not attractive
It's a fact that's become so destructive
I can't seem to catch a break
My face is something no one can fake

So I look to the world of looksmaxing
To find a way to stop the attacking
I'll do whatever it takes to improve
Or else, the rope is what I'll prove

I'll lift and exercise every day
To sculpt a body that's here to stay
I'll buy the best skincare and makeup
To hide my flaws, there's no need to break up

I'll research surgeries and treatments
To fix the issues that cause my torment
I'll spend all my money to look good
And leave behind the life I once understood

For in this world, looks are all that matter
And if I don't look good, I'll be shattered
But with the help of looksmaxing,
I'll rise And finally, see the world through new eyes.
