To surrender is to mistake the darkness for the end,
when night has never promised to remain.
The mountain does not ask the traveler if he is tired
it simply waits, unmoved, until he chooses to climb again.
And so we must learn from the stone beneath our feet
even what is broken may still become part of the path.
There are moments when hope feels like a distant idea,
a quiet voice buried beneath the weight of failure.
Yet perhaps courage is not the absence of doubt,
but the decision to continue while doubt remains.
For every step forward, however small,
is proof that the human spirit is not finished.
Do not measure your life by how many times you have fallen,
but by the meaning you give to rising again.
The river reaches the sea not because it never meets obstacles,
but because it continues around them.
So walk onward, even when the destination is unseen
for sometimes the greatest victory is simply refusing to stop.
(Needed to do this for school thought I would share.)
