I didnt play the actual pokemon mainstream game series im talking about the trading card game. I got a tauros physical card and id build a deck and battle it out like it was yu gi oh.

I would wait until pokemon show aired and then i would put my pokemon cards in front of the tv and imagine i was a trainer.

and it was pretty common to watch the pokemon show in the early 2010s.

Card game/anime shows were at there peak back then as well. Bakugon, yu-gi oh, digimon etc…

Every kind in school wanted to show their collections. Especially on the bus ride back to home would be the perfect time to compare collection and stuff

Tauros is not a hard find to get either as a card

Dodrio, cyndaquil, dugtrio, charmander, pidgeoto.
